Prospect Capital Declares 15th Consecutive Quarterly Dividend Increase, Representing an 11.1% Current Dividend Yield
NEW YORK, NY -- 06/19/2008 -- Prospect Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEC) ("Prospect" or "Company") announced today that it has declared a fourth fiscal quarter (for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008) dividend of $0.40125 per share.
This dividend marks the Company's fifteenth consecutive quarterly increase. The dividend now represents an approximately 11.1% current annualized dividend yield based on the closing stock price for June 18, 2008 of $14.51. The ex-dividend date is Thursday, June 26, 2008. The record date is Monday, June 30, 2008. The payment date is Wednesday, July 16, 2008.
