Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 28, 2021, the board of directors of SmartFinancial, Inc. (“SmartFinancial”) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share of SmartFinancial common stock (the “Dividend”) payable on March 1, 2021, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 12, 2021. On January 28, 2021, SmartFinancial issued a press release announcing the Dividend. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

SMARTFINANCIAL INCREASES
QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND BY 20%
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., January 28, 2021 – SmartFinancial, Inc. (“SmartFinancial”) (Nasdaq: SMBK), the parent company for SmartBank, announced that on January 28, 2021, the board of directors of SmartFinancial declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share of SmartFinancial common stock payable on March 1, 2021 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 12, 2021. The $0.06 per share quarterly dividend represents a 20% increase over SmartFinancial’s prior quarterly dividend declared in October 2020 of $0.05 per share.
